My name is Wilkenson Francois. My previous marriage had afforded me the opportunity, as a father, to love and cherish two beautiful daughters, Genevieve (age 7) and Esme (age 5). I emigrated from Haiti to Brooklyn, New York at the age of twelve (12) before I attended middle school at P.S. 398 The Walter Weaver Elementary School and high school at Samuel J. Tilden High School. I made my way to college and graduated with an associate’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering Technology (EMT) from New York City College of Technology (or City Tech) and a bachelor’s degree in Information Science and Technology (IS&T) from Temple University. I have also lived a double life as a naturalized citizen and a Soldier for the U.S. Army Reserves until I retired back in October 2018. Ever since this unexplainable burning desire in me to pursue my education, I got sucked into the world of cutting-edge technologies, have had a lengthy background in IT, and continue to love that space as I’m currently self-employed running my own startup Lessimp for the dating scene. My hobbies are sleep, sleep, and sleep — I cannot stress this enough since I am too busy chasing my dreams, especially now that you’re reading my autobiographical fiction (ABF) book. In my Anna Sorokin voice, “This whole story is completely true, except for all the parts that are totally made up.” 🤑😎🤪 On a serious note, I enjoy riding my mini Jetson electric bike on the streets of Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn where I currently reside in New York. Don’t be surprised if you find me in any of the local bars in Brooklyn — you might find yourself stung by a beer on my tab.
